Our school holds the opening ceremony of 2019 international students

On September 30, the opening ceremony of the 2019 international students was held in the conference room 206 in the administrative building. School leaders Li Chengwei, Feng Qigao, He Songlin, and Wang Xia attended the ceremony. The heads of relevant units such as the Academic Affairs Office, Student Office, Graduate School, School of International Education, School of Economics and Management, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, School of Information Engineering, School of Arts and Law Teacher representatives and 2019 international students attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Hu Jianhe, Dean of the School of International Education.

In his speech, Li Chengwei, the principal, introduced the basic situation of the school with the three keywords of "responsibility, confidence, and temperature", and raised hopes and requirements for 32 international students from 13 countries and regions. Associate Professor Cui Junhong of the College of Letters and Laws spoke as a teacher representative, hoping that students would respect different cultures, strengthen exchanges and learning, and build bridges and contribute to the sincere friendship between China and their respective countries.

School of Economics and Management Yue Haiyun, a 2019 master student from Tanzania, spoke as a senior student representative and shared his experience of studying and living in Henan University of Science and Technology. Bai Xue, a 2019 graduate student from the Faculty of Law and Law from Russia, spoke as a freshman representative. She said it was her love for Chinese culture that made her come to China to learn Chinese a long distance away.
