三、专业培养目标Educational Objectives                

本专业合作培养国民经济发展急需、具有创新精神和实践技能、富有创业意识、具有国际视野、适应现代化建设和未来社会发展需要的国际应用型人才；具备基础兽医学、预防兽医学、临床兽医学方面的基本理论、基本知识和基本技能，能在兽医业务部门、动物生产单位及相关部门从事动物疫病诊疗、防疫检疫、教学、科学研究等工作。

The target of educational is to cooperate and train international application-oriented talents with urgent needing of national economy, innovative spirit and practical ability, entrepreneurial consciousness, international horizon, adaption of modernization drive and social and development needing. The objective of veterinary medicine educational is providing numerous applicable and integrated talents for our society, and they should grasp the primary and professional knowledge and technology of basic veterinary medicine、preventive veterinary science、clinical veterinary medicine and national regulations and related laws. Thus cultivated students can work in veterinary administration, animal production enterprises and related departments for animal disease diagnosis and treatment, animal disease prevention and quarantine, teaching, science research and other aspects of the work.

四、专业培养要求Skills requirement                

毕业生应获得以下几方面的知识和能力：

The graduates should have the abilities as following:

1. 有正确的世界观和人生观，具有爱岗敬业、遵纪守法、团结协作、诚实守信的良好品质；

Correct world outlook, good quality of dedication, law-abiding, unity and cooperation, honest and trustworthy.

2．掌握基础兽医学、预防兽医学和临床兽医学的基本理论，掌握动物疾病致病因素、疾病发生发展和转化的规律及畜禽疾病的预防、诊断和治疗的基本知识；

The basic theory, knowledge of basic veterinary medicine, preventive veterinary science, clinical veterinary medicine. Have initial capacity on methods of investigation of animal diseases, animal disease detection, animal disease prevention, quarantine and animal epidemic prevention project.

3．具备扎实的病因分析、疾病防治对策的制定与实施技能及实验室检验、常规与特殊诊断、药物的正确使用与开发、兽医卫检等技能；

With the initial capacity of analysis the causes on animal disease, control measures, and have the capacity of implementation on skills development and laboratory testing, routine and special diagnostics, drugs using, animal disease inspection and quarantine and so on.            

4．具备农业可持续发展的意识和基本知识，了解生命科学、动物医学的学科前沿和发展趋势及自然科学中相关技术的应用前景；

Understanding the theory, application prospects and development trends of biological science and animal medicine and natural science technology.            

5．熟悉国家动物生产、动物医学发展规划、兽医防疫检疫、兽药生产、环境保护、动物进出口检疫等有关方针政策、法律法规；

Familiar with the principles, policies and regulations of China's animal production, animal medicine development, veterinary epidemic prevention and quarantine, veterinary drugs production, environmental protection, animal import and export quarantine.            

6．掌握文献检索、资料查询和数据处理的基本方法，具有一定的科研和实际工作能力；

Understand the essential method of literature search, data query, writing, and possess certain scientific research and practical work ability.            

7．有较强的调查研究与决策、组织与管理、口头与文字表达能力，具有独立获取知识、信息处理和创新的基本能力；

Have the ability of research and decision-making, organization and management, verbal and writing skills, and with independent access to knowledge, information processing, basic ability to innovate.            

8．掌握一门外语，能阅读本专业的外文资料，具备良好的文字表达能力。

Master a foreign language, professional reading.

（2）四年全年课程165学分，其中，引进外方课程54学分，占32.73%；四年全部课程总学时为2368学时，其中，引进外方专业核心课程总学时数为864学时，占总学时的36.48%。

（3）四年全部课程43门，其中，引进外方课程15门，占四年课程的34.88%。

Total numbers of course are 43 in the four years, of which 15 courses are introduced, 34.88% of the total courses.            

（4）四年全部核心课程总学分141学分，其中，引进外方核心课程54学分，占38.30%；四年全部核心课程总学时数2080学时，其中，引进外方核心课程总学时数864学时，占41.54%。

The total credits of the key courses in four years are 141, of which the credits of the foreign key courses is 54, accounting for 38.30%. The total credit hours of the key courses in four years are 2080, of which the total credit hours of the key foreign courses are 864, accounting for 41.54%.            

（5）四年全部核心课程共34门，其中，引进外方专业核心课程15门，占44.12 %。

The total number of the key course in the four years is 34, of which 15 courses are introduced, accounting for 44.12% of the total key courses.            

4. 考核方式Assessment methods                

中方课程主要采取考试和考查两种方式，考试课采用闭卷考试方式，考查课采用开卷考试、课程论文等方式；外方课程引进外方考核方式，部分课程采用闭卷或开卷考试，其他课程采用口试、课堂报告或课程设计等方式。

Examination in China is mainly divided into two ways, test based and non-test based. Closed-book examination is used for the assessment of the test based courses; open-book examination and course paper are used for the assessment of the non-test based courses. Foreign assessment methods are introduced in the assessment of foreign courses. Some courses adopt closed-book or open-book examination and the remaining courses use oral test, classroom reports or curriculum design.            

5. 毕业标准与要求Standards and requirements for graduation                

（1）达到德育培养目标。  

The moral education goals have been achieved.            

（2）修满本培养方案规定的学分。

The credits specified in this program have been got.              

（3）达到教育部要求的大学生体育合格标准。

The sports eligibility criteria for university students required by Ministry of Education of PRC have been met.
