I am manna, a teacher of class 161, animal medicine major, College of animal science and technology, Henan University of science and technology. In 2020, he just graduated successfully and was admitted to the Animal Husbandry Specialty of the College of animal science and technology and the College of animal medicine of Huazhong Agricultural University with 329 points.

It's another year when I fill in the application form. I'd like to talk about my views on animal medicine.

After the college entrance examination, my relatives and friends advised me to apply for some popular majors, such as computer science, accounting or law. I insisted on filling in the major of animal medicine. In the end, I don't know why. It may be because my cousin told me how the pet doctor was doing, or I felt that if I had been involved in this field, my dog would not have been unable to do something about it.

When I was really studying in University, I found that, wow, this major is really interesting and powerful. All the teachers are highly educated, experienced and good in character. Not only are the lectures vivid and colorful, let's take many industry giants as the goal and learn from them, such as Yang Hanchun of China Agricultural University, Chen Huanchun of Huazhong Agricultural University, Zhang GAIPING of Henan Agricultural University, and so on, but also take us to the experimental class, which is extremely rigorous and serious.

First of all, although there are many specialized courses, such as zoology, anatomy, histoembryology, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, pharmacology, immunology, clinical diagnosis, internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics, parasites, infectious diseases, Chinese veterinary medicine and so on, there is a saying among the students of each class that "physiology and biochemistry must have a link.". "Parasites, he Shengren" and other Doggerels, it can be seen that professional knowledge is relatively fragmented, but this is the necessary knowledge to engage in the industry, which is the capital to make money.

Then, the experiment class is also rich and colorful. In the past three years, we have dissected fish, bullfrog, chicken and rabbit; we have protected ourselves in place and watched the teacher explain the anatomy of sheep, dog and cat castration; we have done some small experiments in the form of groups, such as frog heart perfusion, slide drawing, indirect hemagglutination test, suture bandage, processing Chinese medicine, etc.; we use our spare time to practice in outpatient department and study medical records.

Secondly, I was lucky to enter the research group of Dr. Xia Xiaojing when I was a sophomore. With the help of teachers and classmates, I gradually learned the experimental steps of cell culture, gel running and Western blot. This not only expanded my vision, but also aroused my interest in scientific research, so I chose to study in graduate school. There are many people like me who enter the laboratory to study. Different teachers have different research contents.

Finally, I would like to say that in the student union of the College of animal science and technology, from the office secretary to the deputy minister to the office director and vice chairman, I clearly know that the college holds a "skill competition" every year, which is a unique activity of the college, which aims to improve the students' hands-on ability and team cooperation ability. In addition, there are three summer activities, including free pet clinics and farms Most importantly, there are many cooperation between the college and enterprises, such as ruipeng, muyuan, Yangxiang, new hope Liuhe, etc. Every year, there are more enterprises and fewer graduates.

After learning, I learned that animal medicine was divided into basic veterinary medicine, preventive veterinary medicine and clinical veterinary medicine;

After learning, I know that the original animal medicine employment rate and postgraduate entrance examination rate are very high.
