Information Engineering Major

The Information Engineering Major was established in 2001. At present there are 21 faculty members, including 4 professors, 9 associate professors, 8 doctors, and 12 master tutors. The major has six research platforms and five teaching and research teams, including Henan Engineering Laboratory of Agricultural Internet of things, Henan Engineering Laboratory of crop big data analysis and application. Information engineering is a characteristic major of the HIST. More than two-thirds of the teaching and scientific research teams of this major undertake or participate in projects above the provincial level, which lays a good foundation for the specialty construction; the teams also undertakes or participates in many teaching reform projects with good teaching effect;  

There are 7 professional laboratories in this major, such as mobile communication etc. At the same time, we have set up practice and training bases in Beijing Danei education group, China soft International Co., Ltd., China Electronics Group No.22 Research Institute, Henan Yunhe data information technology Co., Ltd., Xinxiang Qingfeng Network Technology Co., Ltd., Xinxiang Meida high frequency electronic Co., Ltd., to meet the needs of teachers and students in teaching, scientific research and practice.  

This major mainly cultivates solid foundation, strong innovation ability and practical ability, and solid theoretical foundation of electronic technology, electronic information transmission and processing, computer system etc, and compound senior specialized personnel engaged in technical research and development, product design, system analysis, engineering design, system operation and operation management of electronic technology, information processing technology, communication technology and computer application technology.
